Route Details

Day 1 – Arrival in Tokyo

Welcome to Japan! You’ll take a shared transfer to your hotel, where you can rest or get a first taste of the Japanese capital.

Day 2 – The Contrasts of Tokyo

Explore the city on a tour that includes Meiji Shrine, Shibuya Crossing, and breathtaking views from the Tokyo Skytree, ending with dinner in Shinjuku.

Day 3 – Bullet Train to Hiroshima

Take a high-speed train to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial and the iconic island of Miyajima, home to its famous shrine perched over the sea.

Day 4 – Tradition in Matsuyama

Ferry ride to Shikoku Island to visit its historic castle and enjoy the ancient hot springs at Dogo Onsen.

Day 5 – Gardens and Sea Whirlpools

Discover Ritsurin Gardens in Takamatsu and marvel at the whirlpools beneath the Naruto Bridge before arriving in Kobe.

Day 6 – Spirituality at Mount Koya

After visiting Osaka, head up the sacred mountain to stay at a Buddhist monastery, take part in Zen meditation, and enjoy traditional vegetarian cuisine.

Day 7 – The Splendor of Kyoto

A day exploring the former capital: visit Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Golden Pavilion, and take a stroll through the historic Geisha district of Gion.

Day 8 – Wooden Villages and Castles

Travel through the countryside toward Tsumago and visit the impressive "Castle of the Crows" in Matsumoto before resting in Nagano.

Day 9 – The Japanese Alps and Snow Monkeys

Watch the Japanese macaques at the Jigokudani hot springs and relax at a traditional ryokan with hot springs in Ikaho.

Day 10 – Nikko Shrines and Return to Tokyo

Visit the magnificent mausoleums of Nikko, surrounded by nature, before returning to bustling Tokyo for your final night.

Day 11 – End of the trip
